About these images

All of my photos (thus far!) were taken with a Nikon D5000 and Nikon D600, using a variety of lenses, including:

• Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.8G (FX)
• Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II (DX)
• Nikon AF-S 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G (FX)
• Rokinon 16mm f/2.0 ED AS UMC Ultra-Wide Angle (DX)
• Samyang 24mm f/1.4 ED AS UMC (FX)

Post processing is handled through Adobe Lightroom 5.7.1, the Google Nik Plugin Suite, and Microsoft Image Composite Editor.

Starting in June 2021, I upgraded to a new, mirrorless system. Valuing weight and a full-frame sensor for low light performance, I had to leave my trusty Nikon family behind and switch to Canon (gasp!). Keep your eyes open, my first images shot on my new EOS RP are coming soon. I took the camera with me on my July 2021 thru-hike of the John Muir Trail (JMT) and I can't wait to share the results!
